ViCare Support Services
ViCare Support Services delivers high-quality support and rehabilitation services across multiple schemes and insurance programs. Their multidisciplinary approach and services include Social Work, Occupational Therapy, CTP and WorkCover Case Management, NDIS Support Coordination, coaching, and more.
ViCare mission is to ensure every individual receives the comprehensive care they need and actively connects clients with trusted treatment and care providers to support their physical, social, and psychological rehabilitation following injury or disability. Also, they are committed to supporting not only those already receiving funding but also community members seeking pathways to secure support and reach their personal recovery and wellbeing goals.
concussion and cte coalition
In 2023 the Concussion and CTE Coalition was formed. The members include Dementia Australia, Brain Foundation, Connecters Australia, Associate Professor Fatima Nasrallah of the Queensland Brain Institute at The University of Queensland and Dr Rowena Mobbs of Queensland Brain Institute, University of Queensland.
In February 2025 the Hon. Anika Wells MP, Minister for Aged Care and Minister for Sport announced the Australia Federal Government granted 12.5 million to tackling chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE).
ConneCTErs Australia are committed to working in partnerships with the Concussion and CTE Coalition to provide support to people living with and caring for someone with CTE, facilitating and driving health promotion and awareness into CTE, providing education on CTE, and supporting the research into CTE.
